“The Remnant” refers to the relatively small number of God-fearing people remaining in our society who sustain persecution for their beliefs; and who anticipate certain blessings and rewards for their faithfulness.

What a deluded fucking asshole. The Remnants aren’t being persecuted for their beliefs, but for being a bunch of xenophobic bigots and racists who adhere to a magical view of the world and constitute a dangerous death cult. Hell, we’d even put up with that if they didn’t try to foist this bullshit on the rest of us. Shit, they’re no better than a bunch of Islamic radicals bent on establishing Sharia law.

Greensboro has been shamefully liberal for many years. That is part of the reason our local economy is doing so poorly. We should not assume that the sea of anti-amendment signs we witness as we drive about town is being replicated throughout the state. Other parts of North Carolina have far more sense than Greensboro does.

Is he fucking serious? Does he really think conditions in rural areas, where time lags by at least a hundred years on social issues, are better for being dominated by rich white men who keep minorities and women down all week, but attempt to sit upright in pews on Sunday?

I personally hope that Newt Gingrich‘s presidential campaign will be very active in the state to draw more conservatives to the polls. That might assist the prospects of getting the marriage amendment passed.

I knew this guy was a dead ender, but this is ridiculous.

The atmosphere of intimidation against amendment supporters is testament to the degree to which cultural relativism and sexual liberationism have infected our society–and indeed, even some of our religious groups.

There is simply no evidence that children are worse off being raised by gay parents. Since most pedophiles are heterosexual men, the converse might actually be true.

Well, there we have it. The first time out of the gate and he’s proved that instead of toning down the rhetoric and attempting to appeal to the moderates, he’s swinging for the fences with the social retards who lap up this shit like Sunday dinner. I’ve got news for Guarino and his despicable minions. We have your number and the opposition to this kind of unbelievably stupid and shrill invective will continue to grow.

You have neither the intelligence nor the inclination to go where this maniac will take you. Infamy rather than fame awaits you as a result of this decision.
