The Occupy Movement Clowns
My knee jerk reaction to the occupy movement turned out to be pretty accurate. Now that the weather has become more amenable, the dead enders are back again to no greater effect.
I spend a lot of my time poking a sharp stick at the Tea Party Movement, but I prefer them to the Occupy Movement. The Tea Party at least has a plan and continues to achieve political traction.
The problem with the Occupy Movement isn’t just that they’re a bunch of self-entitled whiners. Their basic strategy is flawed. They concentrate on the .1 percenters, but the reality is we’d all like to be fabulously wealthy and powerful. OTOH, I’m not aware of anybody who wishes to be poor. In essence, the Occupy Movement is motivated by envy and that makes them a complete waste of time.
As a radical moderate, I’m very opposed to both ends of the political spectrum. While I may also represent part of the lunatic fringe, I like to think I adhere to principles rooted in intellectual rigor, rather than a biblical worldview as espoused by the Christofascists, or worse, a self-entitled plan of anarchy as demonstrated by the Occupy Movement.
For me, there is an obvious third path, and that is advocating for those who lack opportunities to make their lives better. Whereas the Occupy Movement is an unhinged bunch of ignorant punks, the poor hold on to their dignity as their sole possession.
So, look for me to disparage the Occupy Movement with even more relish, if that is possible, than I have exerted toward the social retards. Although I regard the Christofascists as a dangerous element, I pretty much piss on the Occupiers as a complete waste of time. However, I intend to mock them for as much entertainment as they may offer.
Go right ahead, I tired of them long ago.
I’m sure the feeling is mutual.
