Guarino is Delusional

August 8, 2012

From The Evil Dr. Guarino at The Greensboro Guardian on the city council’s decision to purchase the YWCA:

The YWCA does not represent motherhood and apple pie. A couple of decades ago, the organization’s leadership was captured by radical feminists; and it has been rabidly pro-abortion and pro-Planned Parenthood since then.

Even if what Joey G. is saying happens to be true, how does that relate to the purchase of a vacant site inside property the city already owns? If his point is that the money will help support these feminist causes, then he should say it. Of course, according to the dominionists and reconstructionists, the Girl Scouts are just as bad. When you’re a cowering xenophobe, everybody looks like the enemy.

Documenting his ignorance regarding Obama:

His opponent, the great Obama, has solidified his position with the Democratic Party’s secularist/socialist base because of various moves he has made over the last four years.

Those of you who do not regularly listen to Faux News, Limbaugh and Beck are probably wondering to what he is alluding. As regards Obama’s supposed solidarity with the left, Guarino, in his lassitude, exhibits a gross misunderstanding. We recognize Obama as little more than a continuation of the previous lawless Bush administration. Yes, he allowed the Masters of the Universe to save said universe after bailing out the TBTF banks and AIG, saved the automobile industry and put forth healthcare reform. But I suspect the average liberal is very unsatisfied with Obama’s policies so far because of his inability to affect the broken housing market, prosecute banksters and generate jobs. Romney may well win, but any mandate will merely be massive dissatisfaction with Obama.

Even though large numbers of Americans are hooked on the welfare state, many others have inevitably gained an understanding of who Obama truly is.

Again with the nonspecific allusions. Accusing large numbers of Americans of being hooked on the welfare state is insensitive and cruel. Global corporatism has robbed well meaning and vital Americans of any opportunity to support themselves and their families. It is one thing to despise the poor, but to degrade the new ranks of those who have been victimized by the economy is an act of distilled evil. It is as though The Evil Dr. Guarino considers himself completely responsible for his fortunate fate and immune from any foreseeable circumstance which could render him suddenly among those desperate people requiring government assistance.

The absence of empathy is the hallmark of the sociopath. He probably also wet his bed as a youngster.

On the city council and waste management:

Only one explanation could possibly account for all the illogic and the continued insistence by city staff, its consultant and the city council to pursue the more expensive alternatives: one or more persons must be getting paid off. Otherwise, the whole thing makes no sense.

True, but you still have to prove it. Innuendo ain’t shit.

On the election:

Obama and his team have already been utterly filthy with respect to their strategy against Romney.

I realize Joe is a busy guy, what with his busy practice and distributing Klan literature with a hood on during lunch hour, but he might have provided some examples. I’m not aware that insisting on tax returns qualifies as filthy.

If anyone wants to witness true courage, please note the Coalition of African-American Pastors, which has recently rebuked President Obama for his position on gay marriage.

Being an Uncle Tom is not a display of true courage. Rather, it is one of the sadder acts of victimization to be found in contemporary religion. These deluded blacks mistakenly believe if they mimic the white fundamentalists sufficiently, they will be accepted. What they don’t realize is they are on the Christofascist shit list right under the gays and always will be.

Back to the city council:

[T]he council, of course, has voted to approve millions of dollars in water/sewer funds to incentivize sprawl in eastern Guilford County; and to assist frequent campaign contributor Roy Carroll and others in the Melderec crowd.

Anybody paying the least bit of attention recognizes the huge growth occurring in eastern Guilford County along the I-85/I-40 corridor. Roy Carroll owns some of that land, and despite being unable to secure city funds to make it shovel-ready, Guarino still carps about supposed crony capitalism. And the truth is these funds have been collected from citizens around Forest Oaks for twenty years to fix a situation caused by a crooked property inspector who floated the water table with sewage by approving homes where the land didn’t perk.

The bottom line is that no matter the subject, The Evil Dr. Guarino is often deluded. His take on issues lacks the necessary specificity to be persuasive. He chases ghosts and lives in a world of myth. And he is apparently far from alone.

They’re obviously not blissful. Worse, they go on about things which aren’t even real. Lord knows we have enough actual probs with which to contend without fantasies.

I wonder if when they tear down the building they will find a pit full of aborted fetuses buried somewhere?

One might think. Fostering choice for women seems like a natural goal. TEDG is merely pissed because those unborn babies won’t grow up gay, black, poor or female for him and his kind to abuse.
