It is my understanding the strip club industry has strong ties to organized crime. Adkins’ partner in several of his enterprises is a locally well known restaurant and night club owner. Is C4GC taking money from organized crime to support local Tea Party candidates? Regardless, do we want income derived from strip clubs financing local campaigns?

For those of you who may not be aware, Greensboro has had elements of organized crime operating here for generations. However, it appears as though C4GC was set up as a PAC by these elements and is supporting candidates for office. In the old days, things were done in backrooms. I don’t have any notion the political influence of organized crime can ever be stopped, but we should at least make it more difficult than this current operation appears to be.

Merchant Payment Express looks like an excellent way to launder money. It is my understanding Isabella Adkins is a native of Eastern Europe, a hotbed of activity for stolen credit cards. I would not be surprised to learn several law enforcement agencies are watching them closely. It would be unfortunate if a handful of dumb conservatives inadvertently associated with an international criminal enterprise.

BTW, Eastern Europe is also known for exporting women to this country as prostitutes. It is not a very big leap from strip clubs to prostitution.

Does anyone know what the penalty is for making illegal contributions to federal election campaigns? Isabella Overton may be in some hot water if she is not proven to be a real person.

I am told the contribution to Billy Yow’s campaign may constitute a felony.
